ABOUT ME

Elora Gunn is a Science Fiction and Fantasy writer, currently residing in the Pacific North West. She lives with her wonderfully nerdy husband, one energetic kid, one lovably silly Miniature American Shepherd, and one grumpy old cat who tolerates all of them. Elora has loved books and stories since her parents taught her how to read, devouring whole books as quickly as she could and driving her sister crazy by reading in their bedroom closet late at night.

 

When she was just shy of twelve years old Elora started trying to write her own stories. She would read sections of the stories to her siblings and their friends in the backyard. The kids were kind enough not to point out the glaring plot holes, giving Elora the confidence to keep writing. 

In 2019 after the birth of her son, Elora quit grooming dogs to be a stay-at-home mom. Between sleepless nights and naps, she turned back to her love of writing, ready to start pursuing her career as an author.
